Japanese enterprises share difficulties with Dong Nai pupils

Recently, Ajinomoto Vietnam has cooperated with Dong Nai Study Encouragement Association, Nippon Sanso Vietnam JSC and Kureha Vietnam Co., Ltd. to organize the 17th "For Pupils Going to School" Scholarship Awarding Ceremony.

  

 

 


In the Ceremony, 340 scholarships worth 374 million VND were awarded to secondary and high school pupils in Dong Nai, who overcome difficulties to strive in study.

 

The Scholarship Awarding Ceremony welcomed the attendance of Mr. Nguyen Trung Phuong – Chairman of Dong Nai Study Encouragement Association, Mr. Thai Bao – Vice Chairman of Dong Nai People's Committee, Ms. Truong Thi Kim Hue – Director of Dong Nai Department of Education & Training, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien – Director of Dong Nai Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, together with leaders of local authorities.
As for enterprises, joining the Ceremony were Mr. Keiji Kaneko – General Director of Ajinomoto Vietnam, Mr. Tatsuya Nakayama – Director of Ajinomoto Vietnam, Mr. Yasuhiro Tada – General Director of Kureha Co., Ltd. and Mr. Masayoshi Omichi – General Director of Nippon Sanso Vietnam JSC, along with representatives of schools and pupils receiving scholarships.


The “For Pupils Going to School” Scholarship was founded by Ajinomoto Vietnam in 2004, with the aim of sharing difficulties and encouraging the spirit of future generations on their path of acquiring knowledge, thereby contributing to the development of Dong Nai province.
After 17 years of establishment, the Scholarship has become an annual activity of profound humanistic meaning, awarding more than 5,000 scholarships worth over 4.6 billion VND to pupils in the province.


Accompanying the "For Pupils Going to School" Scholarship for the 2020-2021 school year, Ajinomoto Vietnam contributed 200 scholarships worth 220 million VND, together with schoolbags and the Company’s products. Nippon Sanso Vietnam JSC and Kureha Vietnam Co., Ltd. awarded 140 scholarships, equivalent to the amount of 154 million VND.

Mr. Keiji Kaneko – General Director of Ajinomoto Vietnam shared: “We believe that the Company cannot grow without the sustainable development of the province and local people. And perhaps we all agree that to facilitate education & learning opportunities for future generations is one of the most feasible ways for society development. Joining with honorable Japanese companies, it is our privilege to co-operate with Dong Nai Study Encouragement Association to present the scholarship to 340 good & disadvantaged pupils. We hope these scholarships will favor the education that makes a door to brighter future, and give the pupils a hand to achieve considerable success in school and in life.”


Speaking at the Scholarship Awarding Ceremony, Mr. Thai Bao – Vice Chairman of Dong Nai People's Committee acknowledged and thanked enterprises for their contribution to establishing the "For Pupils Going to School" Scholarship. The Scholarship has helped thousands of Dong Nai pupils to alleviate difficulties in their study path, contributing to social security.

 

The "For Pupils Going to School" scholarships express the caring of Japanese enterprises operating in the province for the province’s education, contributing to bringing outstanding future generations to the province of Dong Nai.


By encouraging pupils’ spirit, Ajinomoto Vietnam in particular and Japanese enterprises in Dong Nai in general hope that pupils will keep striving in learning and become excellent citizens, contributing to the development of the home province and the country as well.
